White Sox force Game 4 thanks to Wise's decision

CHICAGO -- As always, Dewayne Wise will check the lineup as soon as he walks into the Chicago White Sox clubhouse today.

A career journeyman never can be too sure.

"I hope I'm in there," Wise said. "But if I'm not, I'll make sure I'm ready."

Wise should be in the lineup for Game 4 of the ALDS against Tampa Bay. For all their home-run muscle, the White Sox need the speed that Wise brings.
